Shalom to brothers and sisters in Yeshua. The Lord never ceases to amaze us with His goodness. As Nehemiah 2:18 says, "Then they replied, “Let’s begin rebuilding right away! So, they readied themselves for this good project."
In 2004, a vision for a polytechnic institute was conceived, and after 19 years, it is finally coming to fruition. We are grateful for God's perfect timing and provision that has brought us more than we prayed for in just under two years. However, we humbly ask for your support as we navigate the phases of this transformation.
We are excited about the future home of ONMIs Polytechnic Institute, which includes a main administration building currently under renovation. Two years ago, our vision was to build a church, a nursery school, a primary school, and a polytechnic institute within the next five years (2021-2025). Through this initiative, we aim to provide returning South Sudanese families with the services they need to become self-sufficient citizens of an independent country without relying too heavily on government welfare and UN-driven relief dependence.
Our goal is to create a microcosm of self-governance that includes a permanent spiritual house of worship, a Christian school that provides quality education with a Biblical worldview, and a one-year, hands-on, state-of-the-art polytechnic institute that offers vocational training for South Sudanese youth. We believe that these services will finally plug the leak that has been brain-draining the country's posterity. By equipping these young people with vocational skills, they can become blue-collar workers, create their own jobs, and even become entrepreneurs, thereby providing for their families and raising the standard of living in their localities. We ask for your prayers and support as we work towards this vision.
